Characters of The Demon Slayer

The Demon Slayer characters are unique and they have their own special traits and abilities. The main character Tanjiro Kamado is a simple nature guy with a never-quitting mindset. He has a great love for his family that is why he eagerly fights against the demon that killed them and he never harmed or let harm his sister although she became a demon. He has a super smelling ability that allows him to track the demons and figure out people’s real emotions. As a demon slayer, he uses Water-Breathing sword style to fight.

Next main lead is Nazuko Kamado, the sister who turned into a demon but she was helped such that she doesn't prey on human flesh but gets energy from sleep. She acquired some demonic powers such as regeneration, body shrinking and expansion, superstrength and Exploding blood demon technique.

One of the unique and funny characters is Zenitsu Agatsuma, who is a cowardly person but was forced to become a demon slayer by learning the first technique of “Thunder breathing” only. He acquired special hearing power that could listen to heartbeats to surf the demons and to know people’s real emotions.

The peculiar character of Inosuke Hashibira is a rugged muscular forest man who wears the mask of a boar because he was raised by wild boars. His restlessness and inability to understand normal human norms makes him fun to watch. Alongside, he is very powerful inheriting his self-made Beast breathing technique to fight with double swords. He also has a special ability of touch that allows him to locate demons by feeling the vibrations in the air.

There are also other interesting protagonist characters like Makomo who is a doctor and demon with control on herself and Yushiro, demon created by Makomo, who is very possessive of her. The teacher of Tanjiro and savior of Nazuka Sakonji also plays a vital role.

The lead antagonist is Muzak Kibusuki who is an egoistic demon who is very powerful.
