Awami League has exempted Abdul Quader Mirza, younger brother of Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader and mayor of Basurhat municipality in Noakhali's Kompaniganj, from all activities of the organization. At the same time, it has been recommended to the Awami League president and the central executive parliament to expel her from the party for her alleged involvement in anti-party activities.

Abdul Quader Mirza was called on his mobile phone at around 6.30 pm today to know the response in this regard. But as he did not answer the call, it was not possible to know his statement or response.
Abdul Quader Mirza has been making various allegations including corruption against some leaders including district Awami League general secretary MP Mohammad Ekramul Karim Chowdhury.
